I'm a sociologist, poet, and writer living in the Pacific Northwest. My work involves the trans political moment and the anti-human city landscape. I like it when poetry sounds good in the music of the mouth. I try to do that!
I have poetry published in 2025's editions of Alchemy ("If It Falls"), The Pointed Circle ("Beloved Bite"), and Bellwether Review ("dyspraxic", "Rose City", and "Sludge House"). I also have a creative nonfiction piece in Alchemy, "To Terese" (read a version below). It explores gender transition and memory, and how communicating with our queer elders can be a one-way exercise. I'm very grateful to the editors at Alchemy for their help bringing it to its final, best form.
My first chapbook, Anhedonia(n.), explores what absence can be filled with in the interim. It's done but the fine details.
